Your mission
You’ll be responsible for developing a strategy with the Brüel & Kjær Vibro direct sales team, the NSK sales team and channel partners. Strategic thinking and operational excellence are needed equally – as well the ability to think in the short term as well as long term. 
You’ll have the leadership ability to effectively communicate the company vision, you’ll build a clear strategy for exponential growth within EMEA and you will have the ability to execute this strategy through a disciplined sales process, using excellent communication and influencing skills.

  • Developing, managing and executing strategic plans to promote, market and increase sales of products, solutions and value-added services to deliver the orders and revenue operating plan.
  • Identifying and implementing the main priorities and objectives (KPIs) to develop new customers, sales channels, and distributors as well as recognizing product portfolio gaps and opportunities to fill them.
  • Commercial partnering with the MarCom, Service Execution and Product Management teams to develop an effective sales strategy.
  • Approving and creating commercial strategy and business plan, involving but not limited to, quoting, price strategies/proposals, negotiations, and customer contract commitments.
  • Identifying product trends and needs, as well as areas to grow market share and set up new distribution/sales channelsincluding e-commerce.
  • Understanding competitor positions, product offerings and price levels.
  • Setting annual sales targets for the sales team and managing delivery of those targets through accurate forecasting and disciplined use of the CRM tools (Salesforce).
  • Preparing professional action plans, performance and sales reports, and business plans to communicate business endeavours to both departmental and company leadership.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical or electrical Engineering, combined with a proven sales track record in a related industry.
  • Your leadership, entrepreneurial thinking, flawless execution will inspire your team, and you’ll be able to coach and mentor them to achieve success. Your ability to learn quickly and have a ‘can-do’ attitude will be important for success
  • Fluent English speaking and writing skills – a second European language would also be an advantage but isn’t essential.
  • Knowledge and experience in managing and coaching sales teams to both retain/grow existing customers and acquire new business.
  • Track record of managing distributors and growing performance in highly ethical and professional manner.
  • Good business acumen, strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • State-of-the-art intelligence in terms of markets, legislation, trends, competitors etc. .
  • The ability to develop and execute a long-term strategic business plan.
